How to find us

Kidderminster
We recommend that where possible you arrive by public transport.
The mainline station is adjacent to our station at Kidderminster.
By train: Trains from Birmingham and Worcester connect with
Kidderminster. These trains connect with those from London
(Marylebone), Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire with an
easy, same-platform, connection at Birmingham (Moor Street).
Trains from Wolverhampton or Birmingham (New Street) connect with
Kidderminster via a change at Smethwick Galton Bridge.
Trains from Stratford-upon-Avon connect with Kidderminster via
Birmingham (Moor Street and Snow Hill).
By road: Kidderminster Station (DY10 1QX) is on Comberton Hill,
the A448 Kidderminster Bromsgrove road, and is signposted from
the Kidderminster ring road.
We are signposted from the M42 westbound. From the M5 southbound,
leave at J3 and take the A456 to Kidderminster. From the M5 northbound
leave at J6 and take the A449 to Kidderminster. Look out for the brown
tourist signs with the little white engine!
Bewdley
By road: Bewdley Station (DY12 1BG) is just off the Bewdley bypass, the
A456 Kidderminster Leominster Road. From the M5 northbound leave
at J6 and take the A449 towards Kidderminster turning onto the A4025
through Stourport-on-Severn.
Bridgnorth
By road: Bridgnorth Station (WV16 5DT) is on Hollybush Road. Take
the A442 from the M54 and Telford. From Wolverhampton, use the A454.

route can avoid congestion on the Midlands motorway links).

Help preserve memories.

If youve enjoyed your day, please pledge your support
to ensure the SVR can continue to give joy to families
and enthusiasts for generations to come.
Whilst the day-to-day income received from passenger
fares, shops and catering covers the cost of running and
maintaining the Railway, it does not generate enough
income to invest in improving or developing it for
future generations.
Thats why donations to the SVR Charitable Trust are a
vital source of income for the Railway and there are a
number of different ways you can contribute:

Give now a one-off cash donation

The Heritage Lottery Fund is, for a short period, matching
donations for . Add in Gift Aid, and a 50 donation
becomes 125.

Give regularly a monthly gift

Regular gifts help us plan ahead to make best use of
funds for the Railway and may also be eligible for Gift Aid.

Give later a gift in your will

If you are unable to donate at this time, have you
considered supporting the Railway in your will?
