Race Profile: 1600m Maiden/Class 1 event, which is not everyone's cup of tea,
however we enjoy the challenge. Before we assess individual chances, lets look at
results. As we do not expect a Heavy track, we will only include results on rating
Slow 7 to Good 3 Track Last racing season, there were 11 Maiden/Class 1 events at
Hobart over the mile. Below are results with Vic Tab dividend:

Whilst the rail this week is out 1m (that position was not used last season), the above
results in yellow were where the rail was in TRUE position & Out 2 or 3M. We
believe these best reflect rail position for this week.
It is clear to see, the Maiden/Class 1 mile on Slow to Good ground is the domain of
favoured runners. When the rail is TRUE to out no more than 3m, it is even more
evident.
Conclusion: We will seek to ensure our primary selection fits this profile, with no
need to try and 'reinvent the wheel'. No need to be cute on this one.
