continuation bet theory and examples

There is a lot of talk about continuation bets in the thread, but nothing about the size of
continuation bets, or cbetting on ugly boards, or multiway pots.
Can you guys give me some examples of how much to cbet against people, possibly in some
different situations..
example. say
33 raise utg, CO cc's. FLOP Axx + Flush draw.
77 raise UTG+1, button CC. Flop K56
89s raise UTG+1, button CC. flop TQ5
45s Raise UTG+1, UTG+2 CC. flop, Q37 no flush draw, but you have a backdoor one.
Feel free to provide your own examples, to illustrate your points.
Also, on average, Do you c/f or cb with these hands, if the pot is not HU.

HU I have to have a reason NOT to c-bet 1. monotone flop

2. all overs to my SC, or PP
and even then if villian is relatively tight, I'm probably still firing. I'm only slowing down if
villian has snapped off one of my c-bets or floated me a lot previously. Typical bet size is 3/4
- full pot.
From your examples, single face card flops are ideal for c-betting. From this article

"(1) When the flop has very few ways to connect, but one high card. Qxx, Jxx, Kxx flops are
great to attack, especially from position. Because really there is only one card on the board
that could hit someone. Also it is very believable that you could have that high card for top
pair. People are used to seeing guys play KQ, KJ, etc, so if you bet it, you are just portraying
what people already believe. A pot-sized bet post flop, especially with only one player or no
players to act behind you is a great bet almost every time. If someone does call, you likely
still have position so you can just check behind them on the turn and see a free river. "

Heads up, I need a really good reason to not cbet. For example, OOP against a calling station
(no fold equity). Bet sizing varies between 2/3 to full pot, depending on board texture (drawy
boards I bet more). Essentially, I cbet the same size I will bet with a strong one pair hand on
the same board.
Multi-way, it's a bit more complicated. More than two opponents, I will rarely cbet, even in
position. Two opponents, it really depends on a lot of things. If I'm in the middle and the first
player checks to me, I'm probably cbetting a lot more often as I would if I acted first. If I'm
acting last and am checked to, I'll bet probably 1/2 to 2/3 of the time.

This is one of the reasons I modify my PAHUD to display the "fold to flop bet" stat, by the
way.
