Personnel
My production team for my 3-4 minuet single camera drama is a small production team as
this is only for educational purposes and not a real life single camera drama being show on
the BBC who are my clients. My production team would be made up of a Director, Producer,
Camera operator and Actors so all together a maximum of around 10 people.
The Director would direct the crew and actors during shots to make sure they are exactly
how the script shows so the short single camera drama will flow and make sense. The
Camera operator will operate the camera to make sure the shots are focused and are of a
high quality, then the producer will deal with all other features such as the script, storyboard
and continuity making sure the scenes go with each other and make sense when edited
together. Finally the actors will start in the scenes portraying characters that are stared in the
script and the short single camera drama.

In my group we chose these positions upon what are qualities are and how well we think we
would cope in each job role. Imran would make a good camera operator as he has had
experience in creating videos and editing them. Michael would make a good producer for the
media project as he has a good eye and can pick up on things like continuity making sure
the media project flows and makes sense. Finally I was given the role of Director as I feel I
can speak up and input my ideas into the project to help it develop.
