We are in for another exciting week as we present our research projects in

science, prepare for our Thanksgiving play, and publish our class magazine
Stewardship Weekly.
Our brief Thanksgiving play will be held on Monday, November 24th at 8:45
a.m. in the classroom. Light refreshments will be served after the play.
We will also be participating in a school wide Thanksgiving breakfast on
Wednesday, November 26th. The cost of the breakfast is $3 per child. It will
include juice, bagels, and donuts. Please send in payment with your child by
Thursday of this week.
The class will also be attending the Westchester Knick game on December 3rd
with grades 5-8. Kindly sign the permission slip and return it to school with
payment. The game will include an anti-bullying rally. An assignment will be
given connecting lessons learned during the game with our religion curriculum.
Below is a summary of content explored per subject this week:

definition.

preview the new unit.
Social Studies Students will complete the Native American Unit. There will
be an assessment on the unit on Tuesday, November 25th. A study guide will
