Lesson on Argumentative Writing

your career?
Objectives:
Students will be able to
o Write professionally and persuasively.
o Use outside sources to supplement their stance.
o Write/Speak purposefully about an issue rather than
just argue
Rational:
The purpose of this lesson is for students to learn how to share
their ideas, through writing or speaking, to an audience in a
professional way. This is an important skill to have no matter
what career field they are going into.
