1. Your baptismal certificate must be dated no longer than 6 months before the date of
the wedding. You can obtain your certificate at the parish in which you were
baptized. The non-catholic party must also give a baptismal certificate. If he/she is
not baptized, give a copy of his/her birth certificate.
2. If this is not a first marriage, you need to provide us with proof of divorce and
annulment of marriage (before being able to have date set for the wedding), or a
death certificate.
3. You will have to provide a certificate attesting your presence and completion of a
marriage preparation course.
4. You will have to give the marriage license to the parish secretary at least one month
before the date of the wedding. You cannot get the marriage license more then 3
months before the wedding date.
5. You will need to make the choice of your reading and prayers on the faithful and
bring the book at your next meeting with the priest.
6. There is a wedding fee of $200.00 for parishioners and $300.00 for non-parishioners
which needs to be paid before the wedding day. (Parishioners are those actively
participating in the St-Peter's or Immaculate Conception churches.)
