SCENE 1- EXT. MALLORYS HOUSE. DAY.

A large house is revealed with no one around. Only ambient
sound can be heard. The house in front looks rather empty
and lifeless.
INT. MALLORYS BEDROOM. DAY.
With clothes all over the floor, no movement an alarm is
sounding followed by an arm reaching over to turn the loud
noise off.
The same arm turns on a lamp on their side of the bed.
Mallory is seen waking up rubbing her eyes and eventually
sits up over the one side of the bed.
After one last stretch, Mallory stands up and makes her way
over to the wardrobe. Opening it, she pulls out a grey
cardi, burgandy dress, black tights and some shoes. She
throws them on the bed behind her and then closes the
wardrobe.
Mallory changes into her clothes and then makes her way oyt
of the door, picking up a bobble and ties her hair as she
walks out of the room.
INT. MALLORYS BATHROOM. DAY.
Mallory brushes her teeth
INT. MALLORYS KITCHEN. DAY.
A kettle boils in the background. Mallory pours the boiling
water into a chipped mug and drains the tea bag out of it.
Toast pops out of a toaster. Mallory takes a bite out of one
of the pieces of toast. Walking out of the kitchen, Mallory
grabs the pile of folders from off the side.
INT. MALLORYS HALLWAY. DAY.
Mallory picks up her bag from off the floor, and slides her
keys from off the side. She makes her way to the door and
pulls it behind her.

EXT. MALLORYS HOUSE. DAY.
Mallory locks the door, puts her keys in her bag and makes
her way up the drive.
EXT. STREET. DAY
Mallory walks up the street past the fields. Her phone
suddenly begins to ring in her bag. She fumbles in her bag,
still walking, to find it but ends up bumping into someone
coming in the opposite direction. Her folders fall over the
floor. The other person falls to their knees to pick up her
folders. Mallory is all flustered, appologising for her
clumsiness. Mallory bends down to help pick up the folders.
They both stand up. A mysterious male is revealed.
MALLORY
(flustered)
Oh, Im so sorry. Oh god! Sorry!
The male smiles a crooked smile as he hands Mallory the
folders he picked up.
MYSTERIOUS MALE
Its ok, honestly, dont worry about
it.
MALLORY
Its just my phone was ringing and
I wasnt looking where I was going.
I didnt see you andMYSTERIOUS MALE
(Calmly)
Honestly, its fine.
They begin walking in the direction Mallory was walking in.
There is a short silence between the two of them.
MYSTERIOUS MALE
Where you of to in such a hurry?
MALLORY
(Out of breath)
Im on my way to work. Im so late
and Im gonna miss the bus and my
boss is ringing meMYSTERIOUS MALE
(looking at his watch)
Oh, sorry I must be going. Nice
meeting you...

(Instantly)
Mallory.
(CONFUSED)
Nice meeting you too...
MYSTERIOUS MALE
(crookedly smiling)
Goodbye Mallory.

The Mysterious Male walks in the opposite direction as

Mallory, confused, turns to walk back in the opposite
direction.
As she turns back to look at the male, he isnt there.
Disappeared into thin air, all that can be seen is a car.
She turns back with a confused face and continues on her way
to work.
EXT. PARK.DAY.
Next day, ambient sounds can be heard as people walk and
continue their day to day business in the park.
Mallory walks down a winding path towards a bench underneath
a large oak tree. She sits down, places her bag on next to
her and reaches into it to pull out a red apple. She zips up
her bag and relaxes, taking in the sights as she takes a
large bite out of the apple.
MYSTERIOUS MALE
(appearing on the bench next
to Mallory)
Hello again, Mallory.
Mallory jumps, dropping her apple on the floor. It bounces
and rolls away.
MALLORY
(Frightened)
Oh! You scared the life out of me!
How did you-?
MYSTERIOUS MALE
(Calmly)
Fancy seeing you here.
MALLORY
(confused yet rather happy)
I know, but how did you know-?

MYSTERIOUS MALE
What are you doing here on your
own?
MALLORY
(still confused)
But...erm..I was just coming for
some fresh air.

Mallory awkwardly smiles and brushes her hair behind her

ear, as The Mysterious Male smirks at her.
MYSTERIOUS MALE
(Smiling at Mallory)
Do you fancy going for a walk?
MALLORY
Ugh, yeah sure.
The pair stand up off the wooden bench, Mallory picking up
her bag and swings it over her shoulder.
MYSTERIOUS MALE
So where do you work Mallory?
MALLORY
Just at that little office on the
main road. You know just a plain
one, with the usual office types,
all coffee cups and suit jackets.
But it pays the bills. What about
you?
MYSTERIOUS MALE
So 9 til 5?
MALLORY
Yep. Gotta make a living.
They both laugh together before the mysterious man brings
them to a stop.
MYSTERIOUS MALE
I gotta go.
MALLORY
(Jokingly)
Um. Yeah me too. Ill see you
tomorrow!
MYSTERIOUS MALE
Goodbye Mallory.
He turns and walks off in the other direction.

MALLORY
Goodbye!
The mysterious male just keeps walking without looking back.
EXT. TRAIN STATION. DAY
Friday morning, Mallory walks up a ramp and turns right onto
the railway platform. She makes her way over to the bulletin
board, then down at her phone. She sees the train is going
to be a while. She turns away from the board.
MYSTERIOUS MALE
Looks like were going to be
waiting here for some time then eh?
(Smiles)
MALLORY
(Still looking at the board)
Looks that way.
(Turns round and jumps when
she sees the same male
standing right behind her)
Are you stalking me or something?
(Puts her hand on her chest to
calm down. She giggles)
MYSTERIOUS MALE
(Laughs)
Its a coincidence I guess.
MALLORY
(Flustered and confused,
slightly hysteric)
Ive never seen you around here
before and suddenly within a week
Ive seen you three times... I mean
where are you from? Where are you
going now? How did you get here?
What MYSTERIOUS MALE
Peter
A short silence between them.
MALLORY
(Pauses, confused)
What?

MYSTERIOUS MALE
(Laughs lightly, turning his
head)
Peter Redrum
Silence falls again for a moment
MALLORY
(Slightly confused, but a
sudden smile comes to her
face)
Nice to meet you Peter.
(Pauses, then makes her way
over to the timetable board.)
So which train did you say you were
catch(she turns her head)
-ing?
Peter is nowhere to be seen. She walks a little further down
the platform to see if hes there. Confused, she walks back
to her orignial place and waits for the train.
EXT. MALLORYS HOUSE. DAY.
Later that, Mallory walks down her drive way, fetches her
keys from her bag, opens the door and enters her house.
INT. MALLORYS HOUSE. DAY
Mallory throws her bag on the floor, kicks off her shoes and
then walks towards the dining room. She opens up her laptop
already on the table and pulls out the oak chair in front of
it. She sits down, picks up some of the paper work from off
the floor and begins to type.
A few minutes later, Mallory stops typing. She then opens up
a web browser, reluctantly. Mallory begins to type.
MALLORY
(Spelling it out while typing)
P E T E R R E D R U M. Enter.
(Hits the enter key.She begins
scrolling through the search
results)
Mallory continues to scroll when suddenly she stops dead.
She gasps, shocked.
A news article article opens with the heading MAN FOUND
DEAD IN ALLEY and a picture of Peter underneath.

FADE OUT.
INT. MALLORYS BEDROOM. DAY.
Mallorys alarm goes off; she reaches across to turn it off
and turns her lamp on. She throws her feet off the side of
her bed, stretches once then makes her way over to her
wardrobe. Mallorys opens it and pulls out a blue, black
collared dress, some black tights and some black ballet
pumps. Mallory closes the wardrobe and makes her way over to
the bed. She gets changed, then begins to curl her hair,
then puts a bit of makeup on. Mallory leaves the room.
INT. MALLORYS BATHROOM. DAY.
Mallory brushes her teeth
INT. MALLORYS KITCHEN. DAY.

(Smiles and chuckles)
Its ok, dont worry about it.
(short pause as he hands the
folders back to her)

(Holds his hand out to shake
Mallorys)
MALLORY
(Pushes hair behind her ear
and smiles)
Mallory
(holds her hand out)
They shake hands, exchanging smiles.
