Activity Title: Word Sort

Grade Level: Kindergarten
Activity Summary: In this activity, students will be given a picture of water along with a word bank full of
words. Some of the word bank words will start with the letter W, but some will not, so students have to
move the W words into the box underneath the picture of water.
Learning Objective: Given the interactive whiteboard activity, word sort, TSW sort all ten words with 100%
accuracy.
Grade Level Expectation: RF.K.2 Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables and sounds
(phonemes).
