What is blended learning?

Blended learning occurs anytime a student:

learns part of the time in a brick-and-mortar location, such as Deckerville

Elementary School

the other part of their learning is through an online delivery system,

which at our school is Moodle.

has some control over time, place, path, and/or pace of their
online learning.

Blended vs. Online

discussion

small group collaboration/activities

and/or instruction

Assignments and collaboration
are done completely online

Assistance from teacher is

through email, text, or phone
