I would like to take this opportunity to invite your child to compete in the above Karate Championships.
This competition is quite a big competition and the winners of this competition are classed as ENGLISH
CHAMPIONS. This competition is only open to BROWN BELTS and BELOW (no Black belts allowed) and
the categories are for White & Yellow belts. Orange, Green, Blue & Purple belts. And Brown Belts. With
these three sections also split into age groups. The youngest age group is 9yrs and under and as such this
competition may not be suitable for the very young.
I will also be looking for people aged 9yrs and under and 10 to 13yrs who would like to compete in TEAM
KATA, the cost of team kata & Team Fighting will be paid by the Hull & East Riding Karate Academy (if you
are also competing in the individual event)
The cost of competing in this competition is not cheap at 15 per Individual event and 30 for Teams
Spectators - 10 for adults, 8.00 for 15yrs & below, (Pay on the day)
