The Four Seasons

Winter

Coldest season of the year for The United States

Most animals have gone into hibernation and leaves are


gone from the trees.

Precipitation falls in the form of snow, sleet, and freezing


rain.

Spring

Spring season for our part of the world starts in the midMarch and April months.

Trees and plants come back to life with new leaves.

Spring brings the most rain out of all the other seasons.

Summer

The summer brings the longest days out of the year (the
sun sets late into the evening)

Summer brings the warmest weather out of all the


seasons in the United States.

During summer precipitation is usually low and much of


the country goes through a drought.

Autumn

Fall is the season in which the temperature starts to get


colder.

Leaves begin to autumn from the trees.

Surprisingly fall is the second most rainy season in the


year.

Animals begin their hunting and eating to prepare for


hibernation.
