Tweens Yoga is a series for young yogis ages 9–14 intended to build confidence, body and breath awareness, coping skills, friendship, and fun primarily through the practice of asana (hatha yoga poses), yogic breathing, basic concepts of yoga philosophy (e.g., kindness or nonharming), and introductory meditation techniques. This is an open series—while the class builds progressively, you can drop in to any session. Students should wear comfortable clothes in breathable fabrics and may bring a bottle of water if desired.
