Objective

Education
College:
Christopher Newport University Member of both the Leadership and Honors Program
Completing first year of core Business curriculum (GPA 3.83 and tracking 4.0 for the current semester of the
second). Courses completed or in progress include Business Calculus, Statistics, Introduction to computing,
Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, and Accounting. Classes for a minor in leadership
include Self Group and Leadership, Leadership through the Ages, and Leadership Theory and
Research. Classes for Honors Program include Pinnacle of Human Thinking, Myths of Transformation, and Infinity
and Incompleteness.

Experience
H.U.D. Certified Housing Specialist
June 16-Present
I received a week of training followed by a H.U.D. certification exam and passed with 93 points out of 100.
Intern for Nan Mckay and Associates
June 30-August 19
I interned for this company in the middle of a transition to Miami, Florida where I worked 8 hours a week for 7
weeks working one-on-one with Section 8 tenants by taking their paperwork, answering any questions they may
have had, and setting them up with their appointed housing specialist to calculate rent and eligibility. I also
worked with the finance department sitting in on conference calls and distributing the Utility Allowance Cards.
World Class Gymnastics Coach
I taught level two, level one, Smart Ones, and tumble bunny classes to kids varying from ages 3-12 five days
per week. Smart Ones are special needs kids. I taught the kids the fundamentals of gymnastics in order to
build a foundation for advancement. I worked approximately 13 hours a week while pursuing my
undergraduate studies.
I volunteer every Sunday with kids with special needs. I teach them the basic motions of gymnastics while
providing a fun environment for them to play in a gymnasium. Ages 5-12.

Member of CNUs Cheerleading team and Gymnastics Club Member
My position on the team is head flyer. We competed and received 1 st at Conference at Jamfest in Hampton,
VA in February. In March, we proceeded to travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for Cheer ltd Nationals at
Canam and won 1st, taking home the title of Small Co-ed Collegiate Champions.
National Honor Society Member
2009-2013
Varsity softball member all four years. Appointed Captain Senior Year. Received Golden Glove award three
years in a row and Most Valuable Player Senior Year.
Gymnastics Member
2001-2007
Competed for six years for Novaks Gymnastics Center at local and regional competitions earning numerous
awards.
