THE LITTLE HOUSE

There was a little house on the corner of the battered street. This
little house was known for being haunted! It had broken windows
and grubby walls. Every night at midnight a shadow was seen to
creep around the rooms upstairs even though no-one lived there. A
boy accepted the challenge of sleeping there for a night but only
managed one hour. He complained it was cold and now understands
the meaning of being frightened. The little house still has upheld the
title of being the scariest house in the town.
