The Affection

From the two above picture, I draw the similarity of love, affection, and of intimacy. Even
though my father was not the President of United States, I sure did feel like the prince. The bond a
father and a son share is very hard to explain; very hard to resonate with a simple answer.
A child is a reflection of both parents. The circumstances I lived in have shaped me into who I
am today. I am the result of my parents teachings, principles and habits. As President Kennedy
motivated the nation, my father motivates and inspires me to dream big, explore, work hard, and most
of all taught me to give my best effort at every defining moment of my life. He is my hero, my advisor
and my guru.
This picture was taken, as I am told, for me to be able to reflect back at my childhood and serve
as a reminder to be playful with life as I was back then because we only get one life to live. This in turn
reminds me to thank my parents for their wisdom, guidance and value their presence provided to me
over the years. Without them, I dont know where I would have been. Wasted time is one of the few
things that cant be recycled. This poem below perfectly defines the value of time:

To realize the value of One Year,

Ask a student who failed a class.
To realize the value of One Month,
Ask a person who barely makes rent payments.
To realize the value of One Week,
Ask an editor of a weekly magazine.
To realize the value of One Day,
Ask a daily wage laborer who has six kids to feed.
To realize the value of One Hour,
Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of One Minute,
Ask a person who missed their train.
To realize the value of One Second,
Ask a person who survived an accident.
To realize the value of One Millisecond,
Ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.
