Julia wanted to get a present for her mothers birthday. She wondered what to get
her. She had saved her allowance for a couple of weeks. She asked her older
brother to take her shopping. He took her to the store after school on Friday.
Julia looked around for just the right present. She looked at the picture frames
and glass figurines. Nothing seemed to be just right. She looked at key chains,
but her mother already had one of those.
Finally, she found a beautiful pen that her mother could keep on her desk at
work. It was a beautiful red pen, her mothers favorite color. It had a shiny silver
band around the middle. She was sure she had found the perfect gift for her
mothers birthday. she could not wait to give it to her first thing tomorrow
morning.
