General framework of the project:
Go Online! is a training course for those active in youth work and youth organisations.
There will be 25 people from 5 different programme countries.
Social media is the most effective and indeed the cheapest media channel of todays
world which unites business development, market, PR, stakeholder and target group
relations within its body. Therefore, both for disseminating project results to a large
number of youngsters and networking purposes, it is a crucial opportunity.
On the other hand, many youth workers and organisations are incapable of using this
opportunity effectively. They dont know through which channels, with which messages,
when and how to use social media; hence they use social media very passively and
wrongly.
Thus, our main objective is to develop the knowledge, skills and experience of
participants on how to use social media effectively for youth work. For this, we will
organise a training that will combine theory and practice.
Project duration: 5 months (1st August 2013 1st January 2013
Training activity duration: 7 days (excluding travel) (22th-28th October 2013)
Role of partners:
To send 5 participants (between 18-30 years old) to the training week
Help with dissemination of the project results and outputs
Budgetary conditions:
All costs of accommodation and meals during the preparation meeting and
workshop week will be covered by the project budget;
70% of the training week flight costs will be covered by the project budget.
