The Advent (Christmas) Season

Day 1
What does Prophecy Mean?
Read Isaiah 7:14 write it down in Your Journal.
Please Review the following:
"Advent" simply means coming as in Christ is coming,
And for us now He has arrived.
This is referring to His birth in history and in humanity.
It meant the welcoming or the arrival of a special king and for us;
It is our King of kings.
Answer the following questions in your Journal
1- What does Advent mean?
2- How you would prepare for welcoming the Arrival of a Great King?
Day 2:
Read Isaiah 11:1-10
In your Journal write down Isaiah 11:2
Answer the Following:
1- Who does the Prophet Isaiah Talk about in the Passage that you read?
2- Complete: A shoot shall come out from the Stump ofIsaiah 11:1
3- Write down three to 5 Traits that Describe the Messiah from this Passage
Day 3
Write Isaiah 7:14
Write Luke 1:30-33
What does Immanuel Mean?

Day 4:
Read Jeremiah 33:14-16
Who does the Prophet Jeremiah Talks about in this Prophecy?
Read Matthew 1:18- 23
In your Journal Write Matthew 1:23
Day 5&6
Project:
Make your own Christmas Tree Ornament, using any Material, (Foam, Paper,
beads, etc.)
The size of The Ornament must not exceed the size of a small apple.
Attach a ribbon to your Ornament, so it can be placed on our class Christmas
tree.
