December 2010

CHRISTMAS FACTFILE:

Christmas trees were initially

decorated with foods such as
apples, nuts and dates!

If you received all the gifts

from the song The Twelve
Days of Christmas you
would have 364 presents!

The tallest ever Christmas

tree was in Washington in
1950, and reached 221 feet
tall!

The holiday Boxing day was

originally celebrated in England for the poor servants to
the rich people. After Christmas, the servants would box
up all the leftovers from
their masters and take them
home to their families.
Jingle bells was the first song
to be sung in space!

And so another year is nearly over

Welcome to the December 2014 edition of our Newsletter! We have been
getting into the Christmas spirit here
at TCU Central, we hope you have
been doing the same!
