We live to prove that cooperation

is better than conflict
- President Bill Clinton
PRESIDENT Clinton left the White
House in 2001, and was determined
to make the most of his time as a
private citizen. A year after leaving
office, he developed the Clinton
HIV/AIDS Initiative, which is now
known as the Clinton Health
Access Initiative.
In 2005 President Clinton created
the Clinton Global Initiative, which
bands global leaders and NGOs
together in an effort to find

solutions to todays most pressing

challenges.
In the past eight years of its
existence, the CGI has made over
2,800 commitments valued at $87.9
billion, and has helped to improve
the lives of over 430 million people
across the globe.
This is the CGIs 10th annual meting.
It will be held September 21-24

in New York City.

Speakers that are set to

attend are Hilary Clinton,
Matt Damon, President
Barack Obama, and, of
course, President Bill
Clinton.
