Proposal the Life of Christ

1. The son of God, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, the living example of God, died
for our sins
2. The actual life of Christ interests me because we are told to identify ourselves through Him
and become Christ-like and are always asked to consider, What would Jesus do? but
what is the actual answer? What does reflecting Christ actually look like? What qualities did
Jesus have that we are supposed to attempt to mimic through our lives? So often we are
trying to become like something we know nothing about, and thats why I specifically want
to study Jesus life.
(Jesus lived in the same world as us, faced the same issues as we do, what made Him
different was how He handled these issues and His relationship with God that showed in His
life)
3.
What kind of persecution did He face before His death occurred?
What kind of leadership skills did He use to create disciples?
Where was most of His life spent?
How long did He live?
How did He live His life through example instead of preaching?
How did He deal with doubt, fear, persecution, betrayal, temptation, etc.?
What purpose did His life serve (besides the obvious reasons we already know)?
How can our lives reflect more of Christ, what qualities of His do we need to apply to our
lives (to identify ourselves)?
What priorities and lifestyle did His life reflect?
How can we get to know Christ better?
4. How did He live His life through example instead of preaching?
How can our lives reflect more of Christ, what qualities of His do we need to apply our
lives (to identify ourselves)?
5. I intend to find my research and answers on studies based on Christs life (online). I also
believe much of my information will come from certain books of the bible because that
includes stories of His life and people who lived among Him and witnessed His lifestyle first
hand. Pieces that might be difficult are those questions that are left up for interpretation, as
that will use a lot of focus and understanding (compared to fact-based questions).
6. If I need to narrow my subject I will focus on a specific time in Christ life, not His entire
lifespan.
7. If I need to broaden my subject I will focus on Christ and His followers as a whole and the
movement and changes they made among the world.
