OUR PITCH

By Joel Pickard, Jordan Bunning, Ali Rice,

Xav Sinden

Crime action thriller called The Hit where Jason Statham

plays a hit man. The opening sequence follows Ralph
Fiennes travelling through Londons Tube system, and is
assassinated by Statham. The titles follow Fiennes journey
along the London tube map, and the station names are
changed to be the names of the cast and crew.

Synopsis/Brief

Jason Statham
Ralph Fiennes

Cast/ Crew

London Underground.
Rush Hour.
Tube Map.

Location

Modern day British crime film.

Gritty, violent, with hints of dry humour.
Guy Ritchie inspired.

Treatment

We will use CCTV cameras for some of the shots in the

sequence to give the impression that someone is
watching.
We will zoom in and out of the tube station to give the
impression that he is travelling on the tube whilst also
using the titles for the cast and crew as the stations
names.
We will have a realistic tone to the sequence although
subtly comically upbeat.

Shots and style

The main song weve chosen is Parklife by Blur.

This song will reflect the plot of the opening sequence,
leading the viewer into a false sense of security. The rest
of the film will have slightly darker, more gritty
soundtrack to reflect the genre and plot.

Other songs we thought of are Little green bag used in

reservoir dogs, and the Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin
