1. Describe the four functions of management. Discuss why an
understanding of management is important even if you dont plan to be a
manager.
2. As a manager of a multinational company you need to be very good in
managing things in order to be competitive. Discuss your duties as a
manager in order to manage the company effectively and efficiently.

describe the importance of planning for an organization.
4. Imagine that you are the President of the students association of your
college. Recently, you are assigned a task to organize a annual dinner.
Based on your knowledge on the process of organizing, explain step by

preventing misconduct among employees? Explain your choice.
7. Explain Mc Gregors Theory X and Theory Y in detail. What are the
implications of this theory in motivating subordinates and discuss the
approach should be used by managers in dealing with their subordinates.
8. Distinguish between formal and informal channels of communication. You
are required to provide examples for both channels and suggest ways to
improve communication process in an organization.
