WORK EXPERIENCE
CASHIER, MARTINS FOOD STORES 2012-PRESENT (ON BREAKS)
-Handled money in receiving the money and placing it in the drawer, and I am
competent in making the correct change.
-Constantly dealing with the public, and I have learned how to stay calm even in
situations with upset customers.
NANNY- CURRENT
-Watched children from 9-5 on a daily basis
-Dealt with employers money to be able to take children out to different places to play,
and trusted to bring back the extra money
-Good people skills, with smaller children as well as their mother.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
THE HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH
-At my church I taught younger children almost every Sunday and Vacation Bible School,
though I was teaching children it improved my personal skills with people, being sure to
say the appropriate things, keeping attention, and being able to help with even the
simplest questions.
COURSES FROM WORK
Working in the grocery store, I had many trainings which consisted of alcohol training,
how to handle stressful and dangerous situations, and how to handle hazardous material.
STRENGTHS

Working in Martins grocery store I have experience with handling a cash drawer and the
experience of multi-tasking, and dealing with the public. I am also able to talk to anyone
who would come up to the window. I am also a very friendly and talkative person I have
never had a hard time communicating with anyone, so there are never the awkward silent
moments between salesperson and customer.
