This article provides important information on how the American game of baseball began.
Baseball was invented in America in 1845 and The New York the modern baseball field invented
in 1845. Alexander Cartwright and the members of his New York Knickerbocker Base Ball
Club. They made up the first rules and regulations that were accepted for the modern game of
baseball. It was based on an English game of Rounders and which was popular in the 19th
century. Then it soon it was known as Townball and the Base Ball to todays Baseball.
The first recorded baseball game was in 1846 when Alexander Cartwright's Knickerbockers lost
to the New York Baseball Club.

This article gives important information on this topic. Like how it is stated that one of the main
developers of the U.S. game was Abner Doubleday, who laid out a baseball field in 1839 at
Cooperstown, New York. In 1845, a number of individuals, including Alexander Carrwright who
framed first basic rules for the modern-day game. In 1865, the professional teams made their
appearance. The National Association of Professional Baseball Players was established in 1870.
One of the main professional athletes was Babe Ruth. This article is import to my research
because it gives details on the creation of baseball.
