PETITION

We, the students of Rupys International School along with parents,

petition the school to take at least some form of action against Senior
Science teacher and Grade IX B Class teacher Rajeev Jha. We have multiple
reasons to be filing this petition and we will be naming a few.
The main objective of his job, being a teacher, is not being fulfilled.
The chapters he teaches are always just him reading the chapters
out loud, word to word. When asked for explanation, he simply gives
more of less the same thing the book has given.
He is strongly biased. His personal like or dislike for a student can
sculpt so much about how their learning experience at school is. This
also leads to targeting of students.
He takes out his mood on his students. Yes, it is only a humanly thing
to do, but in this case it is being taken to a whole other level. His
bipolar-ness is something us students simply cannot keep up with.
Many a times have students been sent out of his class for reasons like
humming or something equally as minuscule just because he was
mad.
He pushes students to a mental limit, to such that it has made a
number of students cry.
Gender shaming is a frequent happening. Perhaps the following
information is too explicit for a formal petition like this one, but he
has gone to a limit telling students that if a girl is a victim of rape, it is
her fault. He is a teacher, someone who can shape the thoughts of
students so easily, and inserting ideas like this into the vulnerable
minds of students is simply wrong. In a school directed by an
inspirational strong woman as Rupy Maam herself, this is in no way
acceptable.

These are only a few of the many. Please do understand that we are not
demanding for a full expulsion, but for changes. We have tried to simply
talk to him, talk to other teachers and take other such measures but we
see no change. We will not sit passively while things like such are going
around us.
