RE: Alleged short delivery of cargo
Your protest dated
Dear Sirs,
Purpose of present letter is to fully reject and deny your allegation for short delivery of
cargo for the following sound reasons:
Upon arrival and prior to discharge, cargo was measured in presence of your
Surveyor/Representative and found to be of M/Tons.
The difference between ships figures taken upon completion of loading and those
taken prior to commence discharging is of (plus or less) M/Tons.
Upon completion of discharging all tanks were inspected by your Surveyor Mr.
and found empty of pumpable cargo as per the signed shipment which refers to M3
(unpumpable residues).
Furthermore the Surveyor inspected all adjoining spaces next to cargo spaces, namely
cofferdams and pumprooms, and it found to be empty and dry.
Kindly acknowledge receipt of this letter and oblige in advance.
