This year, our class will be participating in a book exchange.

Each student is asked to bring in a

wrapped book labeled From: (your students name) to give to another student in class.
They will not know who the book will be for, as the exchange will be done at random. I am asking
that each student bring a book that they would be interested in reading that is at or near their
reading level. I have included a list of places to purchase books as well as a list of book series that the
majority of the students enjoy to help guide this process.
PLACES to get books: Barnes and Noble, Wal-Mart, Target, Crown Books
If you feel that you will be unable to purchase a book before our exchange next week, you may
send in a $5.00-$10.00 donation by Friday, December 12th, and I will provide a book for your
child to exchange.
The students may bring in their wrapped books as soon as they have them, but they must be brought
in by Thursday, December 18th.
Our exchange will take place on Friday, December 19th, the last day before Christmas
vacation.
