Dear Mr. Jungchul:
I have been waiting for an opportunity to write to you. Please take into consideration my
application for the position of English Speaking Teacher. This opportunity is an excellent
match for my qualifications. Your institute will benefit from my ability to lead the class,
teaching skills, and knowledge I learned from my TESOL major during three years of courses
in Brigham Young University.
I have studied in TESOL more than two years taking various Linguistics and TESOL classes.
I enjoyed learning the language and how to teach, and how to be an effective teacher and so
on. I had an opportunity teaching English to Korean children, and I learned how to deal with
children through that experience. I have worked as an online tutor with giving a lesson
through the Skype and give them feedback on their writings. I worked as a pronunciation
tutor and writing tutor as well. Through these opportunities, I learned teaching strategies that
I can apply for my teaching. I had a chance to work as BYUH TESOL Society officer, and I
learned how to organize the meetings and exercise a leadership. These experiences will help
me to be an effective teacher, and use my knowledge.
I would appreciate the opportunity to further discuss my experience and qualifications with
you. Please feel free to call me at 010-4264-3515. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Yeji Lee
