    The National Football League (NFL) began August 20th, 1920. The commissioner of the league
    is currently Roger Goodell. NFL has been ranked the most lucrative league in the world and has
    yearly revenues of 9 billion dollars. Yearly, the league raises over 120 million dollars directed to
    all different types of charities. There are currently 32 NFL teams and the league runs a 17-week
    regular season, each team playing 16 games. The NFL has the highest average attendance of any
    professional sports league in the world. Superbowl games account for many of the most watched
    television programs in American history. Since 2012, the NFL regular season has been watched
    by at least 200 million individuals, accounting for 80% of all television households in the U.S.
    and 69% of all potential viewers in U.S.
