REFLECTION
This day I chose car
pool and opened car
doors for the children
when they arrived.
On this day I greeted
the students as I
opened their door

Today I met with two

students for the first
time. I took time to
get to know them and
ask them about
reading. They then
read aloud to me.
They students enjoyed
telling me about their
favorite types of
books and what books
they look for in the
library.

Pirate Pals

Today I met with one

student. I timed him
as he read a passage.
He did remarkably
well and didnt read a
single word wrong. A
couple of times he
added words, but
overall he read the
passage very fluently.
In the 60 seconds, he
completely about half
of the passage.
