In Numeracy we will be learning some multiplication facts, as well as addition
and subtraction using a number line and 100 square. We will also be looking at
3D shapes to be able to name them and describe their properties. When making
pirate maps we will be using co-ordinates and positional language.
Topic ( Geogr aph y, Histor y, S cien ce, I CT)
We will be learning about different animals: what they eat, where they live and
that humans are animals too! After this, we will be focusing on sea animals, and
learning about the sea with a trip to the aquarium. Finally, we will venture above
the water to learn about pirates and the history of sea adventures! It is going to
be an exciting term as we use the iPads and computers to illustrate and type
stories.
