Marketing:

Sales:

6.) Sales include push strategy stressing the needs of the seller.
7.) Sales deals with details and cannot be averaged.
8.) Sales analyses the behaviour and prospects of the customers they deal
with on an individual basis.
9.) Management is sales volume oriented.

Sales talks about total cost ownership which includes price but also
other services that are delivered as part of purchase.
