Pre-K
Students

are finishing up with the

Nutcracker unit by doing some coloring
activities that will determine if the song
they hear has a fast or slow tempo, high
or low sounds, different instruments such
as a flute or violin, and if it is soft or loud.

1st/2nd Grade
Students

are finishing the Nutcracker unit

with reviewing the Russian Dance and the
rhythms and movements that go with
it. They will also be learning about
different instruments that play the main
melodies in the Nutcracker Suite.

3rd/4th Grade
Students

will practice their three top

favorite student compositions on
Boomwhackers in preparation for the
Winter Showcase at the end of
January/beginning of February.

5th/6th Grade
Doing

the same as 3rd & 4th grades.
