o But not on me!
- Teach will teach the song by rote one line at a time, having students repeat each phrase.
- Once students are comfortable and confident with the song, we will move on to the Borodun line
of the Orff Arrangement.
o The teacher will demonstrate the line first, patting the rhythm on their lap. Students will
repeat until comfortable.
o The class will be divided where half is singing the melody line, half is patting Borodun
Rhythm on laps.

- Then, we will move on to learning the unpitched instrument line of the Orff arrangement.
o The teacher will demonstrate the rhythm with snaps. Students will repeat until
comfortable.
o The class will be divided into three, where 1/3rd will sing the melody line, 1/3rd will
perform the borodun line, and 1/3rd will perform the unpitched line.
- Next, we will move on to learning the color of the Orff arrangement.
o The teacher will demonstrate the rhythm by stomping the rhythm on the ground. Students
will repeat until they are comfortable.
o The class will be divided into four parts, where 1/4th will perform the melody line, 1/4th
will perform the borodun line, 1.4th will perform the unpitched line, and 1/4th will perform
the color line.
