    Gulzar is one of Indias finest scriptwriters, film makers and lyricists. He has been working in
    mainstream Hindi cinema for over fifty years. He has published many collections of poetry and
    short stories and also written for children.His list of awards includes many Filmfare and National
    Awards, an Oscar and a Grammy, the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2002 and the Padma Bhushan
    in 2004.
