Fall has arrived! With nightfall coming earlier, its important to remember low-light driving
safety while youre running after work errands or heading home from the office.
Here are some tips for safe night-driving:

Make sure your headlights, taillights and signal lights are clean and working
properly. Ask a friend or family member to check lights while you step on the
breaks or back up to a shop window and watch in the rearview mirror for your
break lights reflections.

Be a more courteous driver to help others and yourself. Reduce speed and
increase the distance between you and the car in front of you when driving in
the dark. This will give you more space and time to react in case of something
unexpected.

Use your headlights, even when its dusk. While they might not help you see
the road any better, they will help other drivers see you. Consider asking an
auto shop to ensure your headlights are aligned properly. Poorly-aimed
headlights can blind other drivers and reduce your visibility.
