Dear Seor Nieto:
I want to put forth a proposition to secure this countrys water. There are issues
with this water, and we need to fix this. I have thought out a plan, and I ask that you
give it consideration. My plan is to build desalination plants and create awareness of
the issue.
First, desalination plants will be great, considering our location. We have seas and
oceans on both sides of our country. We have the Gulf of Mexico, the Pacific Ocean,
and more. With desalination plants, we could take the water from these bodies of
water, and produce clean, sanitary water for the citizens of Mexico. Putting the
plants in low populated areas is best. My plan includes building them in the states of
Colima and Campeche. Both countries are on the coast; therefore they are in ideal
areas.
Next, we must notify the people of Mexico. They need to know the issue at hand. If
people come to be aware of whats happening with their water, theyll be motivated
to use their water smartly. We shall organize commercials, kiosks, and merchandise
to raise awareness. Not only are we letting the people know, but we will be raising
money to build desalination plants as well.

The people of Mexico may have issues with these plans, but I have solutions. For
one, they might not want to change their water use habits. Also, they might protest
to the construction of the desalination plants. However, if they really understand the
severity of the situation, they will want to change some things. Thats why we must
put the important facts out there, and show them the consequences of the issues. To
resolve any desalination conflict, we will build them in places there are no residents,
therefore no property will be taken.
Overall, these ideas I present to you can greatly improve our water and help our
people. Contaminated water is one of the biggest killers in the world, and everyone
has a right to drink clean water. Desalination plants will provide us a new source of
water, and create jobs for people. Raising awareness will inspire people to get
involved in helping the water as well. Thank you for your time, I please ask you give
