Water Conservation
The water system of today is not that sufficient enough to provide the needs
of the society anywhere in the parts of the Philippines. Insufficient in a way that
water that comes out the faucet is not potable to drink, there are so many bacteria
present in the water. There are also times that the amount of water cannot suffice
the needs of the people. These are the main reasons why the water system is is not
sufficient.

The main cause of these problems is illegal logging in the forests and
watersheds. This causes the drought in the river which is the main source of our
water. Illegal logging is the oldest problem that is cannot be solved by the
government because, in my opinion, the government itself is involved to it. Another
cause of this insufficiency is the disposal of garbage in the rivers. There are bacteria
that no matter what process the water undergo, the bacteria is still present and
could affect the health of the society.

In my analysis of this problem, only a single problem arouses, Selfishness.

Greed in a way that those people that cut the trees illegally and those people that
throws garbage in the rivers do not think of those people that might be affected of
what they are doing. They’re only thinking of themselves, they can dispose their
garbage and they can have money. All is about the thought of himself alone,
Selfishness. Those people have hole in their hearts that no desire could ever fill.

To be able to solve this societal issue, the government must implement strict
implementation of an imprisonment to those who are involved in illegal logging.
Seminars and symposiums must be conducted as awareness to the people to
restrain from throwing garbage in the rivers. To replenish what has been damaged,
reforestation must be acted as soon as possible. The entire country must act as one
on this because this is really a very serious problem. Another thing that might
change everything is that the government must change and correct the morale of
the people, correct the selfishness inside them. If these people have a directed
morale, no illegal logging and improper disposal of garbage will happen.
