NTI Guide Pin Diamonds

NTI Guide Pin diamonds have a diamond free guide pin tip that provides a defined,
even cutting depth that results in an exact shoulder or chamfer preparation.
The diamond free tip provides a controlled preparation for the end-user even when

Guide Pin diamonds allow for non-traumatic placement of crown margins.
Available in 5 different sizes for 4 different types of restorations.

998-026 and 999-021: These wider, rounded

end taper and cylinder NTI Guide Pin
diamonds are perfect for full porcelain crowns.
The 0.8 mm depth of reduction at the margin
will assist the dentist with a controlled and
uniform preparation that will give enough
room for the laboratory to prepare the perfect
restoration.

998 Round End Tapers: The 998 Series of

the NTI Guide Pin Diamonds could be used on
traditional PFMs, a Captek crown, Procera
and other CAD/CAM restorations, or even
a full cast gold crown. A good restoration
requires sufficient reduction in the gingival
1/3 of the tooth and the 021 and 023 sizes
in a supercoarse grit provide that reduction.
Fine diamonds in the same sizes are used for
a well-defined, clear, smooth finish line - one
that facilitates the production of an excellent
restoration. The 016, both in supercoarse and
fine can also be used to prep on root surfaces
where using an 021 or 023 would result in too
much reduction and cause a pulp exposure
