How to enable Descriptive Flexfields in LCM:

The objective of this note is to explain how to enable the descriptive flexfields in the
Landed Cost Management application.
LCM supports descriptive flexfields for the following pages:

Setup:
o LCM Options (LcmOptionsPG)
o Shipment Line Type Details (ShipLineTypeDetailsPG)
o Shipment Line Type Create (ShipLineTypePG)
o Shipment Line Type Update (ShipLineTypeUpdatePG)
o Shipment Type Details (ShipTypeDetailsPG)
o Shipment Type Create (ShipLineTypePG)
o Shipment Type Update (ShipTypeUpdatePG)
Shipment Workbench:
o Shipment Create (ShipmentCreatePG)
o Shipment Details (ShipmentDetailsPG, ShipmentSrcDetailsPG)
o Shipment Line Details (ShipmentLineDetailsPG,
ShipmentLineSrcDetailsPG)
o ShipmentLineUpdatePG (ShipmentLineUpdatePG,
ShipmentLineSrcUpdatePG)
o ShipmentUpdatePG (ShipmentUpdatePG, ShipmentSrcUpdatePG)

The following steps show the process of enabling the attribute_1 field for the
Shipment Line Details page. The process is similar for all the LCM pages that
support descriptive flexfileds.
Navigate to the shipment line page and click in the update icon:

From the Shipment Lines Details (shown as Update Shipment Lines) page, get the
page path by clicking on about this page link.

Go to the Functional Administrator responsibility

Go to the Personalization tab, and search for the Document Path copied from the
first step.

Search for Flex and edit Header: Details as shown:

Set the Rendered definition to true and apply.

Go to the Descriptive Flexfield Segments form and search for application Landed
Cost Management and title Shipment Lines and click on Segments button.

Enter the descriptive flexfield information as follows:

Freeze the descriptive flexfield definition and save.

Go to Shipment Line Details page in LCM application and check the results:
