    TOP/05 is a green molded friction material suitable for bonding and riveting. It has main characteristics of flexibility and a high static friction coefficient. The material consists of phenolic resins, NBR rubber bonding system, short and brass fibers, friction modifiers and fillers, which makes it resistant to high temperatures. TOP/05 has a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.50±0.05, wear rate of 120±10 mm3/kwh, and fading temperature of 325±10°C. It is recommended for use with perlitic cast iron mating surfaces and can be used with thermosetting adhesive.
