Features Statotherm R profile rings R901/B are made from permanently elastic, expanded graphite (purity >99.85 %) without binders or fillers. Therefore these profile rings are almost maintenancefree, for severe temperature changes and /or extreme temperatures, which cannot be handled by elastomeric O-rings. Operating range Pressure: p = 500 bar Temperature: t = -200 C +500 C, steam: +550 C Chemical resistance: pH = 0 14 Ash content: < 0.15 % Chloride content: < 20 ppm Density (raw material): 0.7 or 1.0 g/cm3 Resistant to almost all organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, oils and solvents.

The construction of groove must be designed to avoid any radial deformation of the sealing ring as this may destroy it.

Forms of supply All sizes (minimum diameter 3 mm) and profiles up to max. 1,000 mm Die-pressed rings, closed or in segments.
