A Baby Girl and

Mother Dead
On Christmas Day, we were
informed that Sandy, one of
the women we minister to,
gave birth to a baby girl who
was born in critical condition.
She passed away this
afternoon.
Sandy was a woman forced to
work on the streets by her
live-in pimp/boyfriend. He
threatened her life and to burn
Ohana House in order to keep
her away from the help and
care she needed to care for
her children and herself.
Unfortunately, Sandy
committed suicide after her
newborn babys passing.
Please pray for the team
members who ministered to
her, as well the friends and
family members grieving for
their loss.

Ohana House - Knoxville

The Lord has provided Ohana House, our Knoxville location, as a
lifehouse for a family of 9, two women and seven children. They
have ocially moved in and are still getting settled, trying to
enroll the children in school and getting accustomed to their new
living arrangements.
The Lord has blessed us with Momma, a strong, godly woman
who has previous experience with the operations and
administration of charity organizations. She has been a blessing in
both training and assisting team members on outreach ministry
operations as well as actually reaching out to members of the
community and maintaining ministry standards at Ohana House.

Mommas Kitchen
The doors of Ohana House are open 24/7 to those on the street
(homeless, addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, prostitutes, etc). We
work with and minister to mostly women and children, but have
had a few men come in for a hot meal and shower. We welcome
all who come our way and try to fill the physical and spiritual
needs of our clients. Most of our clients visit at night or in the
early morning. Some want nothing but a warm place in the
middle of the night, a hot cup of coee, and a kind word.
Ohana House is known in the neighborhood as Mommas
Kitchen. Momma has been reaching out to the local
neighborhood, but the pimps and people who do not want us
here have been watching the house and threatening those we
minister to. Please pray for the protection for the women we
minister to as well as the residents and team members in the
house.

A Word From Momma

Tonight I look back at the last three weeks. It has been busy and
spirit-filled.
God is moving in so many lives - feeding the bodies and should of
our clients here.
The Lord sent us here to escape persecution and opened a new path
for ministry for us. There is such a mass of homelessness and
downtrodden here in Knoxville, TN.
I never related Tennessee with homelessness and hunger, but here it
is in mass. The Lord has showed us where to locate these folks and
that we need to meet their needs.
Please join us in prayer for the Lord to keep blessing the ministry so
that we can reach lost souls in the Knoxville, TN area.
