First of all check the units are already in IP21 Database.

Running below query will show those units which are required
to add to IP21 Database.

Then Note down new units as shown below.

Now Go to Eng-UNITS and specify total no of units. If previously 42 units were defined and 4 new units are to be

added then put 46 as shown belw.

Now insert new engineering units One by One. Then again run the query to verify that all required units are

added.

Blank screen below shows that all units are already available in IP21 Database.

Save snaps

Create new folder under the root folder named as the plant area.

Create new CIMIO device record

By default the device will be de-activated.

Now create 2 tasks named as TSK_A_xxx and TSK_A_xxx (where xxx is somename like opc server.)

Now assign these tasks to Logical device name.

Now associate CIMIO with Main task

CREATE GET TRANSFER RECORDS.

Now add plant areas as follows.

Create history files for New CIMIO.

Now share the folder.

SET 6 FILE SETS AS RESERVED

.Create 2 external tasks as follows.

RESTART IP21 SERVICES.

NOW Create Tags and check the following things.

Create New schedule for new CIMIO.
