: LED Lamp and mobile phone charger powered by telephone line

Introduction
What are we going to do if power goes out suddenly? Most probably we will look for a torch
or candles. Our telephone lines can be used as a voltage source to bring back lights in such
times. Usually a phone line gives out a voltage about 42.5 V. So here I am making a lamp
which will be powered by the telephone line that can be used. Also if your mobile phones
battery is dead and you want to get it charged in times of a power cut this will be a good
solution.
Objectives of the study

To take the maximum use out of freely available power.

To develop a phone line powered lamp which will not affect the calls.
To develop a mechanism to switch on this lamp automatically when power is out and
turn it off when the power is back.
To make a mobile phone charger which will be powered by the telephone line.

Methodology
Above stated objectives of study will be accomplished by designing suitable circuits for the
lamp and mobile phone charger and by testing them.
