We, the hearers of the story, are invited to recognise ourselves in the scene.
Just as the magi from the East came in search for Christ; we too are on a
search (journey of faith).
We have a star to follow (Christ);
We have gifts to bring.
And like the magi may we go home a different way.
History of St Josephs Parish: There are 3 Boards displaying what we have found
so far of our recorded history since 1847. There are tables with photos displayed so
please have a look to see whether you can identify any of the photos and write down
the name. The Parish History Team, who have been meeting on a weekly basis,
would appreciate help in identifying faces in the photos.
Proclaim Follow-up: Following Anna Schlooz and Tony Herberts attendance at the
Proclaim Conference in Sydney last year two books were recommended as
informative reading: Tools for Rebuilding and The Story of a Catholic Parish Rebuilt. If anyone would like a loan of either of these books for a week please
contact Leanne at the Parish Office.
Year Re-union: Fr John will be in Melbourne for a couple of days this week for his
Year Re-union with fellow year mates.
Thank you for your friendship and support during 2014 and your good wishes for
the coming year.
