Mahatma Ghandi
When you hear the name Mahatma Gandhi what comes to mind? The peaceful
protests, trips to jail, Courageous quotes, or the beliefs in human rights. Gandhi was all
of these things and more! He lived and suffered with his followers; not letting them fight
alone! British India was a rough place full of nothing but broken people tired of being
told what to do. Gandhi was a risk taker! Willing to take a bullet for something he
believed so passionately about!
Gandhi was a sign of hope and peace for the people of British India. He taught
many people how to stand up for what they believe in and to never give up! Ghandi was
arrested during many of his peaceful but effective protests and showed the people to
not be afraid. The Rowlatt Act made Ghandi have to work that much harder in order to
motivate people and encourage them to get involved. He also inspired so many to, Be
the change you wish to see in the world. Mahatma Ghandi was part of some of the
most incredible acts of rebellion in world history, and will live on as a legend who left his
legacy...forever!
