Report on Book Donation Program to IIUM Central Library

Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought

(BIIT)-Bangladesh Chapter of IIIT donated a
number of books and journals to the
International Islamic University Malaysia
(IIUM) Library on 5th December 2014
(Friday) at Muslim Scholars Lounge of the
library.

The library arranged a warm reception for the

delegation of BIIT. On that occasion, Madam Sarifah Abdullah, the chief librarian, conveyed her
special thanks to Mr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT for the initiative and also her
heartfelt gratitude to BIIT for the intellectual movement through the research and the contribution to
the knowledge body. The chief librarian expressed her willingness to work in collaboration with BIIT
to benefit the researchers of Bangladesh by sharing the resources of IIUM Library. In his speech, Mr.
M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT made an overview of BIIT with special reference to its
mission and vision and appreciated the eagerness of IIUM Library to work with BIIT for the
development of the Ummah jointly.
